Mr. Suppiah s/o Arumugam is a highly experienced legal professional with an extensive career spanning over three decades. He became a partner at Presgrave & Matthews on 1 January 1997, after previously serving as a Legal Assistant in 1993. He rejoined the firm on 12 May 1995 following a period in private practice.

His expertise lies in Civil and Corporate Litigation, where he has built a strong reputation for handling complex legal disputes. His practice covers a wide range of cases, including corporate and contractual disputes, trust and succession matters, defamation, and matrimonial disputes. His meticulous and analytical approach has established him as a trusted advisor in these areas.

Mr. Suppiah began his legal career when he was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 1 September 1990. Before joining Presgrave & Matthews in 1993, he practiced at Karpal Singh & Co., where he gained extensive experience handling both civil and criminal cases.

As a seasoned practitioner, Mr. Suppiah has appeared at multiple tiers of the judicial system, including the Court of Appeal and the Federal Court, demonstrating his ability to handle high-stakes litigation. Mr. Suppiah obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the University of London, a prestigious institution known for its strong legal programs. He was admitted to the Bar of England and Wales as a Barrister-at-Law of Lincoln’s Inn in 1989. His legal journey began under the mentorship of Ajmer Singh Sandhu, where he honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of the legal profession.
